Goodness is most important because those who have goodness in them are naturally kind, gentle, full of love and faithful.

I guess it would be love. Not to sound cheesy, but it truly does conquer all. It is unconditional. It will get you through anything.

Sometimes this patience needs to be given to others, but oftentimes it must be given to ourselves.
