I was raised in the beautiful city of Pune, India. While growing up, I was the studious boy who did nothing but study.

But then, I got to know about Leonardo De Vinci and how he was the master of so many things. So, I decided to learn new things, I started playing tennis, went on to be part of the winning team at the state level.

I had never imagined, not even in my wildest dreams, that someday I'll become a poet. On one fine day, one follower commented on my blog post saying that my writing is quite poetic and I should try writing poems, I decided to gave it try.  I had started blogging as an experiment, to see if my writing skills are good enough to attract any audience. It took no time for me to realize what I had been missing out all the time and soon writing became the part of my daily routine. I don't follow any niche as such, I write poems, stories, articles about socio-political issues, tips for blogging and tennis on my blog. I love writing poetry more than anything and I believe that poetry is the most effective way to express emotions.

My latest poetry collection which my best friend, Anshika and I wrote in just 4 hours, is currently #1 BESTSELLING poetry book on Kindle India!

What does poetry mean to you?

Poetry is something you feel; something you live. It's finding an escape from everything and connecting with yourself. It is collecting a vast ocean of feelings in a small basket of words.

What inspires your poetry?

If I found myself thinking about something too much, it often leads to the creation of a new poem. And most often these are very personal things and that's why I share only a few poems with my readers.

Which are most important to you: (1) joy, (2) peace, (3) patience, (4) kindness, (5) self-control, (6) faithfulness, (7) gentleness, (8) love, or (9) goodness? If you can, explain why.

The most important thing among these can keep changing according to mood. But at this point in time, I would say self-control. It can help you get most out of your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual self.

What sort of things are you looking forward to improving this year?

Currently, I'm trying to improve my personal finance, learning and trying to make money create more money.

What is one big dream you have?

To become a diplomat. That's my dream job. I'll get to roam around the world, learn about various cultures, I will be able to contribute a little bit in fighting against the biggest threats to humanity like climate change, terrorism, etc.

Modern Literature

I’m the rarest of the rare More like a solar superflare Leave it you can’t comprehend I’m blessed with something godsend With the talent of making words rhyme, Capable of teleporting readers every goddamn time, To places in their memory or their fantasy, Sometimes they cry, sometimes there’s ecstasy.

You will say there are others too, Who got the same old cliche To offer to you.

Authenticity has gone scanty, Copy of a copy of a copy is becoming trendy. As a millennial and as a poet, Can’t stand people calling posers so lit.

Your falling attention span, Is depriving you, From what real connection can, But even several flings can't do.

The world is conceiving wrong notion of poetry, And even we’re guilty, For ignoring them just as different, Labelling fart as a scent.

All they want is your attention to fuel their number, Turning a single sentence to poetry by pressing enter. Whereas we cater verses with subliminal thought in it. Same words give deeper meaning every time you revisit.
