Poetry, to me, is my essence.

It is about beauty and the flow of moments captured in words.

I really believe there is a poem for everybody, even if you don’t read a ton of poetry.

Poetry is the language of the soul.  It evokes the subconscious.  Poetry is where the true self can be revealed.

You taught me how to breathe underwater

Love others, love yourself, love the things you enjoy doing, love that movie, love that book, love your pet.

Kindness brings people together, it lifts them when they are low, it holds them when they hurt, it celebrates with them when they thrive.

Poetry is like a lover. She's hard to please and likes to tease. She dances like, no other.

Poetry is an outlet for me on a personal level.

Poetry is a product of deep consciousness. It’s a form of candid storytelling, written like a song...

It means freedom when it allows me to express my love of language. It means revolution when it is used to combat injustice.

Poetry helped me to talk to myself in a very personal language.

Everything that speaks the world of life. Love, compassion, deliverance and acceptance. 

Poetry is a creative way of expressing feelings and experiences that connect us to each other.

Poetry to me is the purest form of expression. It allows me to speak of how I feel in words that are easier for others to understand.

Poetry is an art of self awareness. It's reflected in everything we do.

We need to show and spread as much love as possible. Build each other up. Not tear each other down.

Love, kindness, and patience are the most important to me. They are notions that require you to have a great deal of empathy for others.

I believe that I will achieve everything that I have dreamt with hard work, dedication and consistency.

Poetry is an imagination of escape, where I can express my feelings, frustrations, loss and solitude.
